Mildred Council, known as Mama Dip is a Chatham county North Carolina treasure, and a cook that feeds the soul as well as the heart. 
 
There are two paper back versions of her recipes for sale here. Mama Dip's Kitchen and Mama Dips Family Cook Book. Between the 2 there are over 500 lip smacking, mouth watering, traditional and southern recipes for you to impress your family with. There are wonderful photographs of a kitchen filled with workers who were family and work together preparing food in time honored fashion. 
 
These a 2 cook books are previously owned, but in just came home from the store condition. The previous owner's name is hand written inside the cover. You can buy both of them here for the price of 1! $9.99 includes both books and shipping! I don't expect this deal to stay long.
