Classic Vintage Texas Cook Book

This wonderful cook book is classic Texas! Filled with mouth watering recipes and a few you definitely have to have a taste for. All mixed with Texas humor, folk lore and politics it was written in 1965 by Mary Fauly Koock. It makes for wonderful reading if you don't cook a lick.
 
The binding is a beautiful red and gold and the colors are still very bright. There are 474 pages of content. Pages are clean and corners are sharp. There is some wear and fading but they are minimal. 
 
Recipes include "Son of a Gun Stew" and Lyndon Johnsons favorite Red Velvet Cake.
