Purchased on a trip in the 70's to Alapaca Mexico. Wonderful artist of all sorts use natural elements to create beautiful things.
This brooch is made from Alpaca Silver and Abalone. Commonly called mother of pearl, the iridescent materia provides beautiful colors that contrast with bright white on a black ground. This piece features calla lillies. The back is hallmarked Alpaca. The pin is approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
