This is a very pretty piece from the past when your table was a big deal and tea was a luxury. From Handle to spout this tea pot is ornately decorated with etched embellishments and detailed floral designs. One side has a B engraved in the floral design. The pot has deepened in tone with the colors of turning silver but there are no deep spots of etching into the metal. The lid is hinged and is secure and works well. The inside has more time wear but this would make a lovely eye catching vase. 
 
The teapot is approximately 6 1/2 inches in height. The well of the pot is 5 inches in diameter. Perfect for decor in a vintage setting. There are numbers on the bottom but they are light and hard to read.
