Beautiful Blue Pansies atop a Lidded Porcelain Box
In the 50's painted poreclain became popular as a craft and many cool pieces were left for us to enjoy. This trinket box is not dated but came with a collection of items from the early 50's. Floral scenes were quite common and this one is well done in detail and colors choices.
The Lidded round box has a white interior. The bottom has been painted in a deep blue. The lid is banded with a patterned rim that circles the pansies. The bottom is signed Joan Stone and there is a sticker verifying the maker. The vanity box is 3 inches in diameter. One of a kind!
