A vintage western fiction novel written in 1946 by May O'Hara. This book is time worn but the content is still wonderful. 
 
The once bright green hard back cover of this People's Book Club selection is faded and stained. The print on the spine is still legible. The pages inside are clean, though soft and cream colored. The artwork is wonderful inside the cover. The vintage water color painting is signed on the cover but I can't quite make out the last name.
 
There are 319 pages of wonderful text for those who are horse lovers and those who dream about life on the early American Plains. The book is approximately 8 1/2 x 7 inches.
